TEMAS RECORDS
Slow, intentional and impactful.
Independent music label founded by Sara Wual, Paul Cut and Cíntia Aguiar Pinto
mission
embracing a narrative towards positive change in our scene
The music industry is adapting to a changing world. In this context of overbrim material waste, stimuli overflow, and increasing awareness about how it affects our lives, degrowth and mindfulness emerge as powerful premises to deliver quality music that tunes in with our needs. The crowd is rejecting the single-medium formats and seeking for more holistic and immersive experiences beyond sound only, through sensorial experiments that can enlarge our perception as spectators and foster real, unconditioned Human connection. TEMAS Records will cross quality underground electronic music and responsive AI visual art with sustainable music practices for a mindful presence in the scene. The label prioritizes sustainable production and a slower release schedule, with only 1 vinyl record release per year. In between releases, TEMAS Records will foster community and conscious clubbing experiences beyond traditional nightlife, with a strong focus on inclusive environments, people, how they interact with each other, and climate awareness.
Sustainable vinyl production
We produce only one vinyl per year using eco-friendly materials - cutting plastic waste and energy consumption by over 60% -, promoting degrowth and the need for less “fast-food delivery” within the scene, allowing artists - and listeners - to breathe. This healthy creative rhythm flows without compromising music quality.
Immersive Art
Our dynamic visuals react in real time to music and audience movement, enhancing the immersive experience. Through the use of AI Technologies, we will contribute to redefine the role of visuals in clubbing and electronic music culture — not as decoration, but as essential storytellers.
Inclusive Clubbing Experiences
We create safe and diverse spaces, partnering with organizations to improve accessibility and inclusivity in the electronic music scene, through truly inclusive experiences that don’t leave disabilities and differences aside, but rather explore how we can benefit from our differences as a whole.
Collaborative Art and Technology
Beyond music and live visual art, we integrate installations, interactive structures and mental health discussions into our events, elevating the regular “clubbing” and social settings to more in-tune, healthier environments that encouraging self-expression and social equity.
